Texas tech men's Lacrosse (Chad George)

The men's lacrosse team is playing against TTU alumni team on October 15th in the 2011 alumni classic. the game is set to start at 10:00 and is dependent on the football kick off . lacrosse is an interesting sport to check out if your not interested in anything else, its a very fun and interactive sport

Texas Tech Paintball team! (Brian Buchanan)

 Ever wanted to try something new? Or ever thought you werent strong enough, fast enough, or athletic enough to be on a team? If so, the paintball team is for you! The team invites everyone to come be a part of something great. You don't have to have any past experience they allow anyone from a casual player to people who are semi-pro.
Paintball is a very high intensity extreme sport and is rapidly coming a huge part of college sports. Currently the NCPA national championships air on FSN and the championship is aired on national television! If you have any questions or would like to witness the sport first hand then you need to go out to challenge park paintball field on east 50th and the loop on sundays at noon.

Texas Tech vs Nevada (Brian Buchanan)

Tomorrow night at 6pm the Red Raiders will take on the Nevada Wolf Pack. The Raiders will look to improve to 3-0 on the season. So bring your friends and your parents. Be ready to be loud and crazy!! Have a good weekend with your parents and be safe!

The girls soccer team will be facing the Missouri Tigers at 7 o'clock tomorrown night.  The teams record is 2-1-1. If you plan on going you need to have your raider i.d. card to get into the game. Come support your team with your friends and parents if their in town. Everyone have fun this weekend and be safe.

Texas Tech vs New Mexico (Brian Buchanan)

This week the Raiders will travel to New Mexico to battle the Lobos In hopes of moving to 2-0 for the season the last view meetings between the two teams have been a breeze with the Raiders walking all over them. This year isn't expected to be any different.

TTU Women's Soccer (Chad George)

The Texas Tech Women's soccer team will be playing tonight against Hofstra at 7 p.m. They will also be playing on this upcoming Sunday VS. Toledo. these games will be played at John B. Walker Soccer Complex, 10th and Texas Tech Parkway. Their current record sits at 2-2-1 in non-conference play. they will be coming into this upcoming game after being handed their biggest loss of the season, 3-0, against Florida in Gainesville last Friday. Entrance into these games are free with your tech I.D. and are sure to be fun and entertaining.

Don't go home for fall break! Save yourself the money and go to one of the biggest games this season, when the red raiders take on the aggies on our home field. Wear all black, in order to black out the stadium on October 8th and support our football team. WRECK EM!

Flag Football sign ups end today (September 8th) so better hurry over to the rec, you don't want to miss out!

Softball signups begin on September 20th and end on September 22nd

Outdoor Soccer sign ups are October 4th-6th

Volleyball sign ups are on October 18th-20th

Texas Tech vs. Texas State

This Saturday at 6:00, the Texas Tech Red Raiders will take on the Texas State Bobcats in the frst game of the 2011-2012 football season! The Red Raiders are favored in their season opener by a couple of touchdowns, but the Bobcats will aim to overcome the odds and win their season opener. This will be head coach Tommy Tuberville's second season as the Texas Tech head football coach and he hopes to improve from the mediocre 8-5 record of last year's team. As always there will be tailgating in the parking lots surronding the stadium starting as early as 12:00. Make sure you come out Saturday and help cheer the Red Raiders to victory!!!
